Chronology of Events

Tipu Sultan, born at Devanahalli , District Bangalore in Karnataka to Fakhrunissa and Haider Ali on November 20th.

Young Tipu surprises the English during the first Mysore war.

Defeated Colonel Baillie near Plilur.

Father of Tipu, Haider Ali dies in a camp near Chittor at the age of 60 years.

Tipu Sultan is enthroned as the ruler of Mysore in a simple ceremony at Bednur on 4th May.

Signing of the Mangalore Treaty.

Third Mysore war.

Signing of Peace treaty dictated by Lord Cornwallis & surrendering of  his two sons, Abdul Khaliq & Maiz - Uddin on Feb 23. 

Fourth Mysore War.

4th of May, Martyrdom of the legendry personality the "Tipu Sultan".
